35W Minnesota Bridge collapse news — update

02 Aug

Woke up hoping this had all been a horrible dream.  Then I saw the CNN Live video from a security camera…

The Red Cross has set up this website ‘Safe and Well List’ for loved ones to check on each other…

The good news is the death toll is only 4 — errors in reporting had it at 7-9.  The bad news is that will probably rise once they are able to restart the recovery efforts.

Recovery efforts have been stopped so they can inspect the bridge area…to make sure it is safe for crews to be on the bridge parts, and for divers to be in the water.

Still in awe of the many who survived, and the many who helped…..both the bystanders and all the emergency personnel…KUDOS!
